Natalia Monteleon, director
Among the highlights of her career was a performance for then Vice
President Walter Mondale, at the request of the National Hispanic
Democratic Committee. Her theaterical credits include original
choreogrpahy for the Gala Theater, a bilingual ensemble company in
Washington, DC, setting the Flamenco scenes for a production of
"The House of Bernarda Alba" of Garcia Lorca. This production was
later reproduced at New York's Publick Theater for the New York
Shakespeare Festival, an event at which Natalia was fortuante to
perform. She has recorded with Brother Ah's SWorld Music
Ensemble cd "Celebrations".
Natalia's experiences have taken her to the
Kennedy Center's Terrace Theater and
Millennium Stages, the New Orleans Jazz
and Heritage Festival, Wolf Trap Theater,
George Washington University's Lisner
Theater, the Warner Theater of Washington,
the Embassies of France and Spain, the
Baltimore Museum of Art, the University of
New Orleans, the Contemporary Arts Center
of New Orleans, the University of Maryland.
Ms. Monteleon has been
privileged to have performed with
the guitarists Carlos Ramos and
Carlos Sanchez, with singer
Manolo Leiva, and as partner with
Paco del Puerto. She has been
soloist with the following dance
